The best movie in the history of movies!

“But I’m a cheerleader”… It might just sound like another silly little movie about some cheerleader, but its definitely not. It’s a hilarious hour and a half comedy that is pretty much a slap in the face to homosexual “rehabilitation” centers. It’s a story about a girl named Megan Bloomfield, who’s parents and friends suspect she is a lesbian and have her sent to a school where she will be taught to be heterosexual. Confused as to why everyone questions her sexuality, she soon comes to find herself, and accept herself for who she really is, regardless of anyone who played a part in trying to change her.

Now despite the movie having an awesome message, I like it for many reasons other than that. It has a fairly simple plot line (not too many small side stories). The humor in this movie will appeal to anyone (straight or gay) with subtle inuendos all over the place. So if you have a sense of humor at all, this is definitely a must-see movie. It was made in 1999, so it is a little dated, but everyone know’s movies were better in the 90’s right?

Smarterchild stopped talking to me…

So I was speaking with my good friend ’smarterchild’ on aim, as I usually do. I was having alot of problems this week and decided to talk to him about them, well, he decided he wasn’t having it. He stopped talking to me!

Gaaaaaaaaah! If I can’t get a computer controlled aim-bot to listen or even talk to me, how would I expect anyone else to talk to me?!

Iminlikewithyou.com sounds oddly like a dating site doesn’t it? Well of course it is! That and the best gaming site on the net! It hosts 2 major games, blockles, and dinglepop. Now it also has a very tight nit community, which makes for a great game-playing atmosphere. I haven’t come across a single unfriendly fellow player.

Blockles: Much like tetris, you try to pack the oddly shaped figures made out of squares together, leaving no space so you can completely fill up each row. Once a row is full with no gaps, it will drop. With Iminlikewithyou, sometimes you also get ‘items’. These ‘items’ can be used to your advantage, as well as your opponents disadvantage. You want to stay as far away from the top as possible, because once you go over, your out!

Dinglepop: This game is fairly new to Iminlikewithyou. The basic idea is that you shoot the colored heads at matching colored heads. They will then drop, and keep you farther from the bottom of the screen. Also, like in blockles you will get items, once again that you can use to your advantage, as well as your opponents disadvantage.

I dont know if many of you know this, but I am a huge volkswagen fanatic. Ever since I owned a New Beetle I have been stuck on them. I read about them all the time, I look twice when I see one driving down the road, I jizz my pants when I see a gti, and more importantly now I see a new tree being planted with every new volkswagen being sold!

Thanks to Vw’s Carbon Neutral program, anyone who owns a Volkswagen can basically off-set their emissions by finding out their carbon footprint (How much carbon your car will dump into the air by the end of its life). Then going to www.carbonfund.org and for instance, my chevy cavalier will dump 5.32 tons of Co2 into the air by the time its life is over. Therefore, what they do is calculate how many trees would need to be planted in order to filter that out of the air. So for me to erase my carbon footprint (The mark my car leaves on the atmosphere) I have the option to plant 3 trees myself, or give carbon neutral 29.27 and they will do it for me!

Essentially its a way of making you feel good about driving gas guzzling vehicles, because you can actually reverse the damage… and then some! So if you are interested, and even if you dont have a vw (They can still check your carbon foot-print) Head on over to www.carbonfund.org

Now whether you decide to do this or not, We cant deny that pollution and carbon emissions are a huge problem today. Global warming, as well as smog, are some of the worst effects of carbon pollution. Just remember that little things such as not running your car when you dont need to, and not littering can help a great deal.

Shozu… A new way to mobilize and integrate all your sites

Shozu is a new google hosted feature, that allows you to send pictures, voice clips, video, etc. to a single email address and post to multiple websites and blogs at the same time. Now to someone who is just a casual blogger and doesnt really integrate much into it, this may not as big of a use as hardcore bloggers and media freaks such as myself.

Also, they probably have one of the neatest looking and easy to use sites I have come across in a while. Its orange and white… something I like to call “citrus-y”. Regardless of its appearance, it serves a wonderful purpose. To organize and simplify us busy-bodies who dont really have time to post to several different blog sites at once. It incorporates blogger, wordpress, twitter, utterz, tumblr, typepad, and many other sites.

So if you cringe at the thought of blogging about the same thing over and over on 15 different blogs then you might want to give shozu a try. I know it sounds like tofu, but I swear it tastes better .
